We are deeply committed to sustainability, ensuring that every action supports the health of your garden, pollinators, and the planet. This includes avoiding chemicals, landscape fabric, and invasive plants. Our vision is to cultivate a thriving, sustainable world where every decision prioritizes environmental stewardship.

Preview your designs in advance. We create mock-ups (like the example on the right) so you can visualize the ideal color schemes and plant selections for your location before planting begins.

Our Projects

Before

After

Project Details: This north-facing garden was meticulously planned with native shrubs and perennials that thrive in shade. The result is a stunning landscape that supports pollinators, featuring foam flowers, native mountain laurel, inkberry, rhododendron, maidenhair ferns, asters, Solomon's seal, grasses, hairy beardtongue, Columbine, and wild geranium. We finished by preventing weeds with layers of newspaper, compost, and mulch. (Montclair NJ)

Before

After

Project Details: Removed the dying Rhododendron and carefully weeded the area, preserving native Asters for their fall beauty. Added three shrubs—native Rhododendrons, Inkberry, and Mountain Laurel—and perennials such as foam flowers and coral bells. We eagerly anticipate watching these plants flourish! (Bloomfield NJ)

Before

After

Project Details: We replaced aging shrubs, carefully relocated hydrangeas to a strip leading to the yard (where they now thriving!). Removed nearly a dozen bags of invasive pachysandra and added native Inkberry shrubs under the porch, with a lots of mostly native perennials. We also installed hardware and designed hanging baskets. (Glen Ridge)

Project Details: Improved the very dry compacted soil with organic amendments, planted 30+ native plants to improve biodiversity and support pollinators. (Glen Ridge)

Before

After

Project Details: Added over 50 perennials and evergreen shrubs, many chosen for their winter interest, and incorporated large boulders to enhance corner appeal. (Montclair NJ)

Before

After

Project Details: Where there were very few plants, there are now over 50 mostly native perennials that will look beautiful year after year, and provide food and shelter for pollinators. The color theme was white and blue, and we can’t wait for everything to bloom and see it in full glory. (Montclair NJ)

Before

After

Project Details: This part-shade garden received a background border of evergreens for year-round interest. The large azaleas were moved to the front, and we filled the rest of the space with native shade-tolerant perennials and flowering evergreens. (Montclair NJ)

Before

After

Project Details: While not a native plant installation, we are excited to add a splash of color to our clients’ patio. To make this a more sustainable project, we filled the extra container space with newspaper, found branches and some of the plastic containers the plants came with. It’s going to look beautiful until frost! (Montclair NJ)
